3 Best Afternoon Teas in London

To know me is to know that I adore a traditional English afternoon tea. A quintessentially British dining experience, afternoon tea is a must while in London. Be sure to visit one (or two or three — no judgement) of these spots for a classic and delicious tea.

01. The Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon — Fortnum & Mason

My favorite spot for afternoon tea in the world is none other than Fortnum & Mason. Dedicated in honor of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee, afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason is an all-around delightful experience. I’ve been lucky to dine here at least five or six times over the years, each experience better than the last.

02. The Ritz, London

Surrounded by splendor and opulence, afternoon tea is served in The Palm Court at The Ritz. It’s elegance and refinement on another level.

03. Kensington Palace Pavilion

As the only place you can enjoy afternoon tea on the grounds of an actual royal palace, Kensington Palace Pavilion offers a unique experience. Sipping tea with a view of the palace will make you feel positively royal.
