Luxury meets serenity at Passalacqua. It’s a property that is truly spectacular; with history dating from 1787, this newly restored villa offers guests opulence and comfort, with endless Italian charm. For guests who are seeking elegance and luxury, Passalacqua will immediately make you feel at home.
Visiting in October meant the cool autumn air drifted through the open windows at all times of the day, yet it was still warm enough during the day that we got to enjoy the stunning pool. Absolute heaven.
The staff and quality of service is impeccable. Such personalized service (staff called us by name, remembered our drink order, etc.) and attention to detail were a major highlight of our stay.
The mini-bouquet of flowers presented to guests upon arrival (and the vase they thought to put in your room). Also, our flower arranging class with Daniela was a delight.
The music that is played throughout every part of the property was divine. From the poolside to the dining room to your own guest room, it created an ambiance that unified all parts of the property together and distinguished Passalacqua from all other hotels.
The pool is perched along the mountainside, making for absolutely stunning views. We also adored the aesthetic of the pool chairs and umbrellas (can you spot it peeking out from the umbrella? How precious is that print?!)
Epicurean delights are present everywhere you turn. We will be dreaming about the Aperol Spritz until we are back there again one day (they just can’t make an Aperol Spritz here in the U.S. like they can in Italy).
